INDIA AND PAKISTAN

I firmly believe that the festering enmity between India and Pakistan, between them more than one fourth of the world's population, is a phoney one and is being continuously stroked by foolish politicians, generals on the take, and Western powers because they desperately want to maintain their arms trade.

Look at it: What has the West got to sell ? Arms, perfumes, alcoholic drinks, technology? And what do they buy in return? All our raw materials? All our exotic agricultural produce? A hundred acre farm in India [or Pakistan, for that matter] produces barely enough to pay for one lousy second-hand tank or gun, which serves no useful purpose in our people's lives, except killing our brethren, or demolishing their homes and hearths, which are uninsurable and can only be maintained repaired or replaced by selling more of our sweat and blood.

What has the West exported to us in the name of free market democracy and technology? Cola-plants? Pizza parlours? Strip-club culture? CDs of Michael Jackson and Spice Girls? And their brand-names on our own produce Shoes and handbags manufactured locally and branded GUCCI, now sell for six to ten times their original value? And some stupid corporation sitting in some Western capital is claiming a fat royalty fee from our entrepreneurs, in the name of intellectual property rights?

Imagine as to what has this new fangled WTO slogan done to the rest of the world: Globalization has meant that Western capital can emigrate to any part of the world and manipulate national governments and policies in any direction it likes, but our workers need visas to migrate to the west, and have to pay fat visa fees for getting that visa? They send their junkies and paedophiles to our part of the world dressed as tourists and take away our highly educated and technically skilled citizens [educated and trained at heavy expense to our national exchequers] to run their factories and plants.

All this lofty chatter about Freedom, democracy and free market economy is pure poppycock. Actual motive is to keep unloading their rubbish and useless [but packed in technicolour cartons] produce on to our gullible populace and keep retrieving, in return, what is best in our lives and in our in our cultures. All this talk of human rights and law and order is simple camouflage to cover up their control and consumption of 90% of the world’s resources by about seven percent of world's population and their aim is to keep world's largest population imprisoned within those geographical archipelagos called our national boundaries?

It is a conspiracy of scoundrels against the simpletons. And the only intelligent and intellectual challenge to this conspiracy is being posed by people of India, Pakistan and China. Unless we wake up to this conspiracy, we are doomed. Imagine if India and Pakistan abandoned their hostile postures towards each other, the world arms bazaar will be poorer to the tune of £2000 million annually. Imagine how many schools and hospitals and homesteads can that much money build for our impoverished people. Work out how many miles of tarmacked roads can be built in our parts of the world to link our villages to the cities?

All those out their with sense and intelligence should get off their behinds and join in this forum to express their opinion. Right now, the conspirators are sleeping prettily in their beds under the sanguine assurance that they have drugged us, the economic refugees living the West, with their visions of wealth. Let them know that we are not slumbering idiots and intend to flex our muscles as and when we get a chance.

And that chance is now: Now because this 'ecstasy pill' of consumerism is being pushed down our people's throats at a very fast rate. Every world bank loan offered to our communities ends up buying a stately home in Britain, a luxury apartment in New York or San Francisco, or is a Swiss bank vault, via one or the other signatory politician to that loan. And when these corrupt politicians get found out, they also turn to the West for political refuge for 'medical treatment' if for no other reason. And Imagine, what happens to those looted billion-dollar funds when these bought-up politicians pass away? Have Marcos' 'assets' been returned to Philippines? Have Samosa's bank accounts been exposed to the use of Nicaraguan treasury? Have Zaire President Mobutu's horde's been returned to the republic of Congo? And do you really think that our own Bhuttos and Sharifs and Sukhrams Lalloos will ever relinquish their siphoned off booty in the interests of our own people?

So time to wake up is here and now.

Let us all get together and coax our Pokharan-drunk and power-mad politicians into common sense and demand service foe the fat salaries they are being paid out of our hard-earned consolidated funds.
